The fullfillment of God's Promises...

Its amazing, just a few short weeks ago I was having a serious problem with where I lived. I was not at all happy with the conditions and I was really starting to outgrow my space. One day I woke up crying and I asked God to PLEASE show me what to do, because I wanted to move. I cried that deep gut wrentching cry that seems to come from your soul...

When I was done, God took me to His Word and began to lovingly speak life into me. He began to share His precious promises and with each Word I read I was calmer and calmer. After a while, I just KNEW in my heart that everything was going to work out. Later on that week I dreamed I was to drive down a particular street and look for a place. But upon awakening I thought "thats silly, that street does not exist." A week later I saw the street again and dreamed that night I should drive down it again and look for a place. So the very next day I did. When I initially turned down the street there were no apartments, but when I got to the end I saw it. I got out, wrote down the number and called. When I walked inside I INSTANTLY LOVED IT. It was simply beautiful and exactly what I needed. I filled out the application, turned it in, and waited. I knew in my heart that this was my new home. Long story short, 2 weeks later I was approved for tenancy! Not only that but God granted me favor in that my rent was by reduced $50.00/mo. People have begun to bless me with me money toward my deposits and other fees. God is so amazing in that where HE GUIDES HE PROVIDES. He will do JUST what HE said, I can promise you that!

God always keeps His Word. Many people ask: "How will I know if this is really God?" You will know when God speaks because there is a peace that passes all understanding. It is not foolish or silly, it is wise and peaceable. You can trust Him. You can know without a shadow of a doubt that when HE says something, HE WILL DO IT! His Word promises us that He watches over his Word to fullfill it. It is impossible for Him to lie. What HE SAYS ... IS!

I am truly basking in the glow of answered prayer, and a full fledged trust in the LIVING GOD!

Not if... but when!

There are days in your life when you will have to step out on faith. You will have to trust completely and totally in GOD for what you are asking for!! Why? Because you won't have any idea of HOW it is going to happen you just know it is!

Have you ever just 'known' something? Even without proof, you just KNEW a certain thing? Thats how I feel right now about a particular personal project that I have in mind. I am praying and waiting patiently and my exact feeling is not IF but WHEN.

I am in a state of preparation right now with no idea how all of this is going to come together OR where the money for what I want to do is going to come from. But I believe in my heart of hearts that where GOD guides HE provides. And I believe that HE is guiding me to this particular blessing that I have asked Him for! I have prayed for favor, resources, wisdom, knowledge and understanding. I have done my part and I will allow Him to finish the rest! For I know that without GOD, this will be impossible, but with HIM I can do all things!! What exactly is the blessing that I know will take place? Well you will have to check back to find out :)

I just want to leave you with this thought today! Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge HIM and HE shall direct your path!

Psalms 34: 6-10: I sought the LORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears. 5 They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.

This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.

The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.

Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good;Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.

The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.

Womanly Wiles....

On August 6th Dateline aired a show called The Tangled Web. It is the story of a woman named Sandra (one of her many aliases), now known as the Black Widow. Why? Apparently she was the type of woman that would charm men of prestige and power, marry them and allegedly kill them. A friend of hers claimed that men were fascinated by her. She was gorgeous, and seemed to be kind and loving. In actuality, she was a woman who was deceptive, manipulative and knew how entrap men. When she was younger, she used her beauty and charm as a tool to control men. However, when she got older and her beauty somewhat faded, she began used the title of evangelist under the guise of ‘religion’ to con others out of money and other things.

To some degree, I think that all women have the innate ability to charm men. I believe that God has given us a ‘sphere of influence’ to the men in our lives. This is why Proverbs 31*, says that “Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting.” We have a mystery and air about us that men find attractive and are drawn to. We can either use this gift for good or evil. The Black Widow used her manipulative ways to harm men and con people out of money. I am sure we have all encountered women who seem to have the ‘gift’ of making men cater to their every whim and meet their every financial need. Sometimes you may even wonder, how does she do that?” (I know I have).

Women are special in that when we put our minds to it, we can really make a difference to those around us. Our ‘charms’ should not be used as a tools to get what we want, but rather as tools to enhance and strengthen others. God made us to be communicative and nurturing, but when that is misused simply to gain money or things, we are not in the proper order. As women, we hold so much influence among our peers, friends, and family. This influence should be used to make our corner of the world better.

If you are a wife or girlfriend, you have tremendous influence on the man in your life. If you are a mother, your children are looking to you for peace, safety and instruction. You set the tone of your home and relationships. Is it peaceful and harmonious or is it filled with angry words and bitterness, so that your family is afraid and unsure of your next move? As an employee, you also set the atmosphere of your workplace. Can people come to you and get the help they need or do people exhibit reluctance in approaching you? If you serve at church or in your community are you kind and respectful or do people not want you on their committee because they are afraid you will control the project? These are tough questions we have to ask ourselves as women. Are we using the natural gift of influence God gave us to help or hurt those around us?

Manipulation comes in many forms, but it begins with control. While you need to have some control, keep in mind that God has the ultimate control. Make sure that you go to Him when you are attempting to make a change or influence others. He will never lead you wrong when you are obedient to His voice. When you follow His way, you and the people in your life will experience joy, peace, love and happiness, simply because of your remarkable influence!

Its a New Season!

It is truly a New Season!! God is shifting some things around in our lives and right now they seem like inconveniences, but they are actually propelling us further into our destiny, purposes and blessings.

I believe that God allows us to go through testing and trials to make us strong AND to humble us, so that when HE shows up and shows out (and HE WILL), we give all the glory to Him! Lord knows I need a change in my life as far my living space (amongst other things) but I am believing that God is having me to step out on faith, trust in Him, and look for a place and He will do the providing.

I am also praying for each of you. Remember the way is already made, the blessings are already set, we just have to go through the process of getting there!

It’s a new season, it’s a new day, a fresh anointing is coming my way!
It’s a season of power and prosperity, it’s a new season, coming to me!!!

Deuteronomy 11:13-15 (New International Version) - So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today—to love the LORD your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul- 14 then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and oil. 15 I will provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied.
